Take_The_Time_Hemp_Greeting-CardDo you ever feel as though you’re in a dream? Life moves at such a fast pace that it’s easy to go through the motions and yet miss the meaning (and opportunities) in your everyday experiences. Before you know it, years have passed and life doesn’t look anywhere near what you’d originally intended. It’s surprisingly easy to find yourself in a place that, despite your familiar surroundings, feels like you don’t belong. Somehow, your intentions got set aside for a familiar routine. Often, it’s a routine that leaves out some important aspects to living a life that’s on purpose and full of the richness we all crave…

The good news is that in your discomfort, you realize something is amiss. From this place, it’s easy to seek a new balance. The better news is you’re not alone. Today, more than ever, humanity is waking up from its slumber in a big way. We’re all just a bit too antsy for something more meaningful, even instinctively knowing there’s a better way, the answer just within our grasp.

The Beginning is Nearsticker_begin_within

Making a change to living a life on purpose, with intention, begins with allowing yourself to be present to the moment and present to what is. Wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, stop for a brief moment and really consider that there is no time more real than this very present moment. This very moment is yours alone. Yours to experience as a passive observer or a present creator. Passive, in that you’re not on purpose, living from a victim state of reactions, or, present, meaning that in this, and every moment, you’re in a state of awareness and purposeful intention.

Acknowledging first where you are vs. where you want to be allows for a sober evaluation of what your next steps should be. One of the most worthwhile things you can do now is make this assessment without judgment, blame or regret. Just acknowledge what is (no story attached) and where you’d like to be (story attached), period.

What You Think About, You Bring About

sticker_faith_verbFrom this place, allow yourself to see yourself as having achieved your goal. Feel the emotions that are attached to having achieved your goal. This undeniably sets a force in motion that will draw to you the end you seek. It really is that easy. The intensity of emotion that is attached to your repetitive thoughts, feelings and beliefs really can, will, and does affect the material world. Skeptical? If you’re honest with yourself, you’ll admit that your life up until now has been a wondrous reflection of your deeply held patterns of thought.

As humanity is waking up to this truth on a broad and collective scale, the veil between cause and effect is becoming more and more clear. Understanding that what you give out is what comes back demands for a more intentional thought process about not only yourself but your neighbor as well.

The Golden Rule

Be_The_Light_16x16_CanvasThe thoughts you have about yourself, your neighbor, your community, your government, even the world, is what you will reflect back to you, while answering the call to impact another’s life in a positive way is a high and noble calling. The benefit is that when the two of these come together, doing to others as you’d want done to you produces an equally (positive) reality and vibration that impacts you and everyone around you with immediate and lasting effects.

“Be the change you want to see in the world” and “do unto others as you’d have done unto you” are not just feel good clichés. These are the most powerful and yet simple nuggets of wisdom that will draw to you a life you love and will change your life and the lives of others for the better on the most broadest of scales. The power of belief and the Golden Rule are indeed a powerful marriage of thought and action that will achieve the highest good and greatest potential for lasting peace, prosperity and oneness for all.
