From I-5 take exit #226 (Kincaid St.). This is Highway 536. Go west (left if coming from the south and right if coming from the north) to Third St. Turn right at the Courthouse on the corner of 3rd Street and go about five blocks. As you drive underneath the large 2nd St. overpass, look for the Co-op parking lot and main entrance on your left. Can’t miss it!

We are a food Co-op featuring natural and healthy food choices. We have a large certified organic produce section. There is a full mezzanine mercantile department offering exciting goodies for the whole family. We strive to have environmentally friendly products as well as fair trade items while still being affordable. This mercantile department carries books, cards, jewelry, clothing, toys, housewares and baby items and of course,  Root Concept Stickers. They also  have a full service Deli with a hot bar and salad/soup bar.

Mission Statement

The Skagit Valley Food Co-op is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide good food at a low price. As stated in the Co-op By-Laws: “The Co-op shall promote member welfare by utilizing their united funds and their united efforts for the purchase and distribution of commodities in accordance with the following criteria:
  • Maintaining the non-for-profit status of the Co-op
  • Offering high quality products which contribute to good nutrition
  • Supporting a low impact, non-harmful approach to the environment
  • Supporting local suppliers and producers
  • A commitment to building a cooperative economy and supporting others who share that commitment
  • A commitment to educational programs relevant to members and non-members in the community
